THE MISSIONS OF THE GROUPS
Audio Visual Team
We tape the services for use by our shut-in members. We run the power point to enhance worship for guests/members. We assist and enhance worship for those at church and at home care centers.
Video Visiting Team
The purpose of this group is to visit shut-ins in their homes or at nursing homes. We deliver video tapes of our weekly worship services to the shut-ins and also to area nursing homes or assisted living centers. The same video tapes are also available for members who cannot attend weekly worship services due to conflicting work schedules.
Goals for 2009- Audio Visual Team: We would like to have all of our services staffed and add two additional new members to our team. We would also like to look into web casting our services.
Goals for 2009- Video Visiting Team: We would like to get more volunteers to do the following: a) Identify members who are inactive because of conflicting job schedules and get them the tapes of our services or direct them to the website and b) Reach out to other areas of nursing homes and assisted living centers to see if they could/would make use of our worship service tapes.
