Simply Giving is a program designed to help you conveniently contribute to a Lutheran congregation or institution or to pay tuition at a Lutheran school. Through Simply Giving, your gifts or tuition payments are made through a pre-authorized withdrawal from your bank account or credit card. You determine the frequency of your automatic gift—weekly, semi-monthly or monthly. Your gift or payment is deposited into the organization's bank account on the same day it is withdrawn from your account, at no cost to you or the recipient.

Thrivent Financial for Lutherans helps our members contribute even more to their favorite Lutheran organizations through the GivingPlus Program. For every $2 contributed to enrolled Lutheran organizations by benefit members, and those who own Thrivent Mutual Funds and Thrivent Financial Insurance Company products, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans or one of the subsidiaries will add another $1.
Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, Thrivent Asset Management, LLC1 and Thrivent Life Insurance Company2 have earmarked a total of $27.5 million for GivingPlus in 2008.
Note: Organizations must have 2008 gifts postmarked to Thrivent Financial by January 16, 2009
Increase Your Gift Through Volunteering
Volunteering is important to us. When you give at least 25 hours of volunteer service to the organization you support with eligible GivingPlus gifts, Thrivent Financial or one of its subsidiaries will contribute an additional $25. Members are eligible to add this volunteerism gift to one GivingPlus gift per year.
